It was one of those rare winter mornings in Copenhagen when the darkness finally surrenders—if only briefly—to something miraculous. Dawn arrived like spilled watercolors, orange and pink light pouring through my apartment windows, and I couldn't help but smile upon opening my eyes—what a gift!
