The days are long, the harbour ice is gone, and the first bike rides without a jacket and gloves feel delightful.</p>
June 20252025-06-20T00:00:00+00:002025-06-20T00:00:00+00:00https://guillego.com/now/2025-06/<p>Living in Copenhagen (since September 2016!) and I feel really fortunate that in this season of life I bike commute most days in around 15 minutes. I've been dipping year round in the Baltic sea for a few years now and it keeps reminding me (especially in the depths of winter) that it always seems the hardest and most painful right before you go in.</p>
<p>I'm climbing (lead, boulder) a couple times per week and feel really proud of my steady running mileage increase over the past few years.</p>
<p>I love living in this city so much, yet I am ever conflicted about the long distance relationships and friendships that I maintain (to varying levels of success).</p>
<p>I feel really lucky to have been in a beautiful relationship for over a year and a half which has brought a lot of joy, fun and learning.</p>
<p>These days I'm nerding out on operating systems and low level programming in general.</p>
<p>I've been daydreaming for over a year now of building something that will transform how the electric grid works and enables renewables and energy storage to be deployed on a whole new scale by individuals, small communities and businesses in a decentralized way (perhaps I should start doing something about it).</p>
